With OCTOBER BABY, the Erwin Brothers add feature film to their impressive portfolio of creative work: dramatic TV series, documentaries (THE CROSS AND THE TOWERS and THE MYSTERIOUS ISLANDS) reality television ("Real Strength"), shorts, music videos, and commercials.

Jon and Andy Erwin began their career as teenagers, working as camera operators for ESPN. Shooting local games at the University of Alabama soon became full-time careers as sports cameramen. The brothers eventually worked on numerous events, including ESPN College Football Primetime, NFL, X Games, NBA, and the Super Bowl. In 2005, the brothers ventured into directing commercials and music videos. They found great success in the world of music, directing music videos and producing concerts and television programs for platinum artists including Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Casting Crowns, Switchfoot, Skillet, and Montgomery Gentry among many others. They have received 10 nominations and three consecutive wins for Music Video of the Year at the GMA Dove Awards.


Rachel Hendrix

Rachel Hendrix (Hannah)

In her first starring role in a feature film, Rachel Hendrix plays Hannah Lawson in OCTOBER BABY. Rachel grew up in Dothan, Ala., and attended The University of Montevallo, earning a bachelor of fine arts degree in photography. While in college, she was introduced to filmmaker Kris Kimlin who cast her in his short film, LETTING GO. Since then, Rachel has appeared in many short films, music videos, and commercials, and in 2008 she landed the lead in Halogen Network's TV pilot, "Alumni."


Jason Burkey

Jason Burkey (Jason)

A veteran actor of film, television, music videos, and commercials, Jason Burkey plays Hannah's lifelong friend Jason Bradley in OCTOBER BABY. Originally from Chicago, Jason's feature film credits include lead roles in WRITER'S BLOCK, LUKEWARM, 10 COMMANDMENTS OF CHLOE, and FOR THE GLORY. In addition to feature films, Jason has appeared in pilots for the television series "Home" and "Alumni."


John Schneider

John Schneider (Jacob)

Veteran actor John Schneider plays Hannah's father, Dr. Jacob Lawson, in OCTOBER BABY. He began acting at age 8 in his home state of New York before moving to Atlanta at 14 and becoming involved in local theater and film. His first role was a small part in SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT in 1977. His big break came when he won the role of Bo Duke on "The Dukes of Hazzard," which ran on CBS from 1979 to 1985. He later became a successful country singer with several hit songs. Creating many memorable characters on shows such as "Smallville" and "Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman," John continues to enjoy a successful career as an actor in both television and film.


Jasmine Guy

Jasmine Guy (Mary)

Jasmine Guy has performed as a dancer, actor, singer, director, and writer. Her stage work includes Broadway productions of The Wiz, Leader of the Pack, Grease, and Chicago; she also has numerous credits as a stage director and choreographer. Amongst her many TV roles, she is best known for creating the iconic southern belle Whitley Gilbert on the "Cosby Show" spinoff "A Different World." Jasmine's film credits include SCHOOL DAZE and HARLEM NIGHTS. She also is the author of "Evolution of a Revolutionary" (Atria Books), about the life and journey of Afeni Shakur, and she released her debut album on Warner Bros. Records in 1990. She is currently producing director of Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Company in Atlanta, where she resides with her daughter.


Shari Rigby

Shari Rigby (Cindy)

Actress Shari Rigby plays Hannah's birth mother in OCTOBER BABY. While in college, Shari landed her first modeling job and landed on the cover of a national magazine when she was only 20. Local and regional acting roles followed before Hollywood came calling. Shari has starred in eight independent feature films and her television credits include "The Young and the Restless" and "The Bold and the Beautiful." When not working, Shari shares her time and talent with organizations that empower women and children.


Jennifer Price

Jennifer Price (Grace)

As she began her career as a social worker, Jennifer Price also became involved in community theater in Birmingham. That unique pathway led to her playing Jennifer, Hannah's mother, in OCTOBER BABY. Her entertainment resume includes voiceover work for radio, television, and film; acting in corporate and Internet films; and commercials. Jennifer also has appeared in several independent films. She splits her time working in Birmingham and Atlanta with a dream to one day be on Saturday Night Live.


Chris Sligh

Chris Sligh (B-Mac)

Chris Sligh is best known for his run as a quick-witted, sarcastic contestant on American Idol in 2007. Since finishing that season in the top 10, Chris has enjoyed a career pursuing his love of music. His other creative passion is acting. A theater major from South Carolina, Chris shines in his breakout role as the lovable and humorous misfit chaperone B-Mac in OCTOBER BABY.
